At the Georgia Renaissance Festival, on Memorial Day Weekend, there was much fun and entertainment. The greatest of these entertainments, for me anyway, was enjoying several sets performed by the Pyrates Royale. Between seeing them warm-up for the day with a large group of the musicians at the Tinkers Camp, to their sets in the Brewers Pub, and also at the Musicians Gazebo near the front gate, I was able to enjoy many of their songs but more than their musical talents they also have a great stage presence and I cannot imagine an audience failing to thoroughly enjoy themselves watching this group perform regardless of the setting. I thank each and every one of them for sharing their love of performing, in public even, and for being such talented individuals. *bows humbly - checks that his pouch is still on his belt (gold and Pyrates ya know) *
The Pyrates Royale in the Brewers Pub - GaRF2000

The Pyrates Royale performing a set in the Pub at GaRF - Memorial Day weekend.

(look HERE for a special note)

Pyrates at the Musicians Gazebo In the Musicians Gazebo just inside the front gate.

( Yes the picture is a little fuzzy, but they've been drinking. *g* )

Pyrates in the gazebo - but two are missing Still at the Musicians Gazebo, but hold on, there seem to be a couple of Pyrates missing. *this could be dangerous*

( But doesn't Peg look angelic? yeah, I know, , an angelic pyrate and all that, , but still, she does )

Pyrates Found - A new manner of audience participation Ah HA! ! There they are. It seems that when the audience is slow to participate they help fill out the audience, , or are they merely trolling the waters to see who has a heavy purse?

( Not that they would do That of course )

All the Pyrates visible at the same time again in the Gazebo *whew* they're all back together in one spot so they can be watched easier.

( And easy to watch they are, check out Skivee's ankles for example *chuckle* )
